APPOINTED VIEW

While looking online at the amateur travel photos of a stranger’s vacation in Reykjavik I came across a picture that was not like the rest. It was the view from the girl’s hotel room window. The caption read, “The view from my hotel room.”

After making this discovery I have made it a practice to document the view that is appointed to me when I check into a hotel. Some views are mine for a short while, some for several days.
